ISCTA Certification Courses for K9 Risk Assessors
A Canine Risk Assessment is a formal documented fully-justified risk analysis that can be used in legal proceedings. There are a number of reasons why a formal, objective, science- and evidence-based evaluation of the level of danger a given dog presents is necessary. For instance, court cases or controversies where the level of risk the dog poses is in question require an independent objective risk analysis from a qualified recognized authority. ISCTA-Certified Canine Risk Assessors provide the best choice for an independent third party because they can provide a solution that both Animal Control and dog owners can agree on: a fair and impartial evaluation of the threat level presented, with a list of Corrective Actions that can be taken to mitigate any risks and effectively reduce the dog's potential threat to the community.
